Round labels are very useful for promotional stickers or for labelling products. You could easily print round labels yourself using the available free templates. Follow these simple steps to print your round labels.
Things You Need
- Printable Round Labels
- Microsoft Word
- Inkjet or Laser printer
Steps
- Buy your choice of blank printable round labels. You can find blank, printable round labels of your choice easily from the options available at 123-Labels.
- Download one of the available templates into your preferred editing software. 123-Labels provide free templates in Microsoft Word or PDF format. Use Word or other software to copy and paste your text and images into the template for an individual label. You can speed this up by simply group the text boxes and images as a single item (click on the items holding the shift key then click edit/group or ungroup)
- Put the blank round labels into the printer’s paper feed.
- Turn your printer on and wait for it to stop moving. Prepare your round labels; they should all face the same direction and be lined up like a deck of cards. Fan through the stack quickly to make sure the pages aren’t stuck together and then line them up.
- Set the correct paper thickness. Most printers have different settings for paper thickness. Refer to your printer’s manual to see which setting you should use.
- Adjust the moveable paper guide on the feed tray. You may have to squeeze the guide to move it. Slide it to a position that will accommodate your round labels.
- Place your round labels in the feed tray. Look for arrows or text indicating the top of the label sheet. Set a stack of round labels between the paper guides so the top loads in first. The front of the sheet should be facing you. Adjust the paper guide as necessary.
- Choose your printer settings. Before you print, you should have the option to enter page setup or printer properties. Ensure that your printer is ready to print on labels. Some drivers have special presets for printing on round labels.
- Click “Print.” Your software will probably ask you about your blank round labels. Input the product information to get a properly lined up label. Your round labels should now print on your inkjet or laser printer.
Tips & Warnings
Version numbers of your word processor are important. Templates made for newer versions will not normally work with older releases. Double-check the compatibility before downloading a free round labels template.
Make sure you run a virus scan over any templates you download from the internet before installing them on your computer. Templates are an easy target for virus infections, and once installed on your computer can be very difficult to get rid of.
