You wanted to organise your data, music or video CDs and DVDs and you purchased some great CD/DVD labels from 123-Labels but now wondering how you are going to design, print or apply them on to your CDs or DVDs? Well…don’t worry…we are here to help you. Follow these simple steps to design, print and apply your CD/DVD labels conveniently.

Things You Need

Steps

1. Design your labels. Designing CD/DVD labels is a breeze with the free templates available on the 123-Labels website. Download the template designed for your product. Open it with MS Word. Now you can insert your custom text, shapes, favourite clip art or images just like you do in any MS Word document.
You can format the text colour, size and font to give your CD/DVD labels a more personalized look. Or you can insert an album cover or movie artwork downloaded from the internet.

2. Print your labels. You can choose from a variety of CD/DVD labels available here in different sizes. Once you have the label sheets with you, load them in to your printer. Load a single sheet if you want to print just a single copy. Click the print button after you have reviewed your design.

3. Apply your labels. Applying CD/DVD labels is very easy with a label applicator that can be found easily online. Once you have printed your CD/DVD label, you are ready to apply it to your CD/DVD. Place your CD/DVD with its reflective side down into the label applicator. Peel off the CD/DVD label and place it in the other side of the label applicator with adhesive side facing you. Now close the applicator and press it.

Tips & Warnings

  • Spend some time while designing your CD/DVD labels to design the ones that reflects your personality or business.
  • While printing your CD/DVD labels, first print a test page to see if your design is appropriate and avoid wasting printer ink and labels sheets.
  • Press the applicator gently when applying your CD/DVD labels. Otherwise you might end up damaging your CD or DVD.
